But, speaking of patterns, that’s not all the luxury retailer is doing for the holiday. The fashion house is going all out with a line of  Marc Jacobs-designed Diwali dresses and separates made from vintage sari material. Priyanka Chopra is sporting one on the cover of Vogue India and Christy Turlington has been spotted out in another of these creations. There’s a scarf and some other items coming out that mix LV logos with traditional Indian motifs too. It’s all meant to celebrate the history of Indian craftsmanship — and, yes, they’ve enlisted lots of Indian crafters for the project.
According to reports, no global company has ever celebrated India or Diwali on quite this level.
